Sushi Maru is a newly-opened sushi restaurant with clearly defined mission. We want to prepare delicious and remarkable food and leave every customer impressed and excited to come again. Our philosophy is based on choosing only the very best and very fresh ingredients from trusted providers and turning them into culinary masterpieces with our knowledge and experience.

Our team is led by Chef James Kim, a Japanese Sushi Chef with 28 years of professional culinary experience. Among his numerous awards are Best sushi bar 2014 in Virgin Island (Daily Newspaper), Best Sushi Bar of 2002, 2003 (Port Folio Magazine), Best Restaurant of 2002 (Port Folio magazine) and many others. After studying culinary art in Japan Chef Kim worked for more than 10 years in New York City gaining experience to open his own sushi restaurant. His professional experience includes working as a Head Sushi Chef at several luxury hotels and high-end restaurants at USA as well as operating restaurants as an owner. Our professional team headed by chef James Kim will be pleased to impress with their culinary skills even the most demanding customers with most exquisite tastes.
